Stay up to date with customer conversations and team activity by configuring your email and in-app notification settings.
How to Manage Notification Settings
Log in to your Qpien account.
From the left-hand menu, go to Account and click on the Profile section.
In the Your Profile area, select Notifications.
Here, you’ll see the full list of notification options available for sound alerts and delivery channels.
Sound Settings
Conversation sound: Choose your preferred alert for new conversations (currently: Sound 3).
Message sound: Select the sound that plays when a new message is received (currently: Sound 4).
Notification sound volume: Adjust the volume level to your liking (e.g. 75%). You can use the test button to preview.
Notification Preferences by Event Type
You can choose how you want to be notified for different types of activities. Each option can be enabled or disabled separately for desktop, mobile, and email.
New unassigned conversation: Notifications can be received on desktop, mobile, and email.
New conversation assigned to you: Enable alerts to be notified instantly when a conversation is directed to you.
New messages in conversations assigned to you: Stay updated with message activity in your own conversations.
New messages in unassigned conversations: Helpful if you're supervising incoming traffic across your team.
For mobile, you can also configure whether push notifications should always be sent.

Best Practices
We recommend keeping both desktop and email notifications active, especially for unassigned conversations and personal assignments.
Notification preferences are saved automatically and can be updated anytime.
Testing sounds and adjusting volumes regularly ensures you don’t miss important updates.
