WhatsApp Business API: How to Connect WhatsApp to Qpien
Qpien allows you to manage customer messages from WhatsApp Business directly inside your inbox. This guide explains how to apply for and connect the WhatsApp Business API.
Step 1: Go to WhatsApp Business API Settings
From the left-hand menu, click Channels.
Under the Messaging section, select WhatsApp Business API.
Step 2: No Account Connected Yet
If you haven't connected any WhatsApp account, you'll see the following message in the center of the screen:
"You don’t have any WhatsApp account"
"Easily reply to WhatsApp messages from your Qpien inbox."
This means you're ready to start the setup.
Step 3: Start the Application
Click the New Account button.
A new form will appear. Fill in the required details:
Display Name (Only visible in Qpien)
This is the internal name used to identify the WhatsApp channel in your dashboard.
Example: Customer Support - WhatsAppName
Enter the brand or company name you want to register.
Example: Qpien Tech SolutionsPhone Number
Enter the phone number you'd like to use with WhatsApp Business API.
It must not be in use with a regular WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business mobile app.Teams *
Select the team(s) who will manage and respond to messages through this WhatsApp channel.
Click Submit or Next once all fields are completed.
Step 4: Await Team Assistance
After submitting the form, you’ll see the following message:
"After you apply for WhatsApp Business API, our team will contact you in a few hours to complete WhatsApp connection."
At this stage:
A member of the Qpien team will reach out to help you complete the Meta (Facebook) Business verification and phone number activation process.
Once verified, your WhatsApp channel will be connected and live in your Qpien inbox.
