Connecting Facebook and Instagram to Qpien

Learn how to connect your Facebook Page and Instagram account to Qpien to manage comments and messages from one unified inbox.

🔵 Connect Your Facebook Page

Step 1: Go to Facebook Integration

• In the left-hand menu, click Channels.

• Under the Social Media section, select Facebook.

Step 2: Begin the Connection

If no Facebook page is connected yet, you’ll see:

"We will redirect you to Facebook to link your Facebook Page."

Click the New Account button.

Step 3: Select a Team

• In the popup window, select the team that should have access to this Facebook channel.

• Click Next.

Step 4: Authorize Facebook Access

A second popup will appear:

"Connect Facebook"
"We will redirect you to Facebook to link your Facebook Page."

Click Connect to continue.

Step 5: Complete Authorization on Facebook

You’ll now be redirected to Facebook. Follow these steps:

1. Select the Page(s) you want Qpien to access.

   • You can allow access to all current and future Pages, or select specific ones.

2. Review permissions such as:

   • Managing messages in Messenger

   • Reading and responding to comments

   • Accessing user-generated content

   • Managing Page settings and webhooks

   • Viewing your list of Pages

Click Continue to approve and complete the setup.

Step 6: Return to Qpien

Once access is granted, you'll be redirected back to Qpien.
Your Facebook Page is now connected, and your team can manage Messenger and comment interactions directly from Qpien.

🟣 Connect Your Instagram Account

Note:

To connect Instagram, you must first connect the Facebook Page that manages the Instagram business account.

Step 1: Go to Instagram Integration

• In the Channels section under Social Media, click Instagram.

Step 2: Authorize via Facebook

Since Instagram is connected through your Facebook Page, Qpien will redirect you to Facebook for authorization. The process is very similar to connecting Facebook:

1. Log in to your Facebook account that manages your Instagram Business account.

2. Approve permissions for Qpien to access your Instagram messages and comments.

Step 3: Complete Setup

Once permissions are granted, you'll be redirected back to Qpien.
Select which team should manage this Instagram channel and save the setup.

Your Instagram account is now connected! Your selected team can manage DMs and comment replies directly from the Qpien inbox.
