Import
Qpien allows you to quickly import contact lists from your computer, map their data to system fields, assign tags, and review detailed import results, including any errors or updates.

By clicking the arrow button next to the “Add Contact” button, you can open the additional options menu.
From this menu, you can:
Easily add a new contact,
Import or export your contact list.
This allows you to manage your contacts quickly and efficiently.
You can transfer a contact list that is already prepared on your computer to Qpien using the Import feature.
Imported contacts will appear in your Contacts list, allowing you to send messages and perform call operations with them.
To start the import process, click the Import Contacts button.

When you start the import process, the panel that opens allows you to:
Upload your contact list by either dragging and dropping the file or clicking on the panel to select it from your computer.
Supported file formats: .csv, .xlsx, .txt. Your contact list must be in one of these formats.
If you need a sample list, you can download a template in your desired format using the Download Sample File option, edit it, and then import it.
After uploading the file, click the Next button to proceed with the import process.

In the import panel, the Column Name and Sample Data sections show which data is in each column of your uploaded contact file.
At this stage, you need to select the corresponding Qpien field for each piece of data.
After completing all mappings, click the Next button at the bottom right to proceed with the import process.

In the next panel of the import process:
Information about columns to be imported and columns not to be imported is displayed.
Just below, under “What would you like to do with existing contacts?”, there are two options:
Add new contacts and update existing ones
Add new contacts and skip existing ones
These options allow you to decide how to handle contacts that already exist when adding your contact list.

In the import panel, in the Tags section located just below, you can select any existing tags you want to assign to the contacts you are importing.
After making all your selections, click the Import button to complete the process.

After the import process is completed, the results panel displays a summary including:
How many contacts were imported,
How many contacts were updated,
How many contacts were not imported.
Additionally, by clicking “View import details, warnings, and errors”, you can download a file containing all the details for review.

In the file downloaded after the import, you can see which contacts were not imported and the reasons they were not imported in detail.
This allows you to review any missing or incorrect records and, if necessary, correct them and import again.
